Always one of our most popular wines, this year's Winter is Coming was crafted from 59% Syrah and 41% Petit Verdot from Colorado's Grand Valley.  We aged the wine in 40% new oak and combined traditional winemaking with whole cluster fermentation to create one of the most powerful wines our winemaker Dan Kraft has ever created.  Featuring notes of fresh mountain blackberry, fig and fresh ground pepper, with hints of olive and baking spices, this wine can stand up to the richest of meals. Try with your favorite steak, or herb rubbed lamb chops.
